The belief system of every Muslim revolves around the pillars of Islam.
Basically, the word Muslim means surrendering in front of the Creator and living life according to Almighty’s will.
In other words, it means “to submit ourselves to God and live life according to God’s Will”.
The procedure of Islamic faith was encrypted after the conquest of the holy city of Makkah located in the Arabian Peninsula.
In this phase of learning, our scholars will teach the Islamic foundation and important beliefs.
Keeping in mind the student’s convenience and aptitude, our scholars have tailored this course into Pillars of Islam and Belief System.
1.1. Pillars of Islam
At An-Noor-ul Quran, we elucidate the concepts of pillars in Islam.
Every Muslim who follows the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and is willing to live life according to God’s will
must adhere to the foremost pillars of Islam, which are known as the Five Pillars of Islam:
- Proclamation of Shahadah (Declaration of Faith)
- Offering Salah (Congregational Prayer)
- Giving Charity in the name of Allah (SWT)
- Performing Hajj once in a lifetime
- Fasting in the month of Ramadan
1.2. Belief System
It is widely believed that religion is the harmony of beliefs, principles, fundamentals, and moral values
to attain a high degree in this world and hereafter. Therefore, having the correct belief is essential.
Historically, many religions existed, and all were originated by the Apostles of God.
Prophets used to teach people about the oneness of Allah (SWT), administration systems,
and social responsibilities towards one another.
The problem arose after the demise of the prophets due to poor communication over long distances
and amendments by companions due to lack of knowledge.
Consequently, to tackle such scenarios in the future, it is important for every Muslim
to have a firm belief in Allah (SWT) and His Messenger Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
